Police shot dead a man in south London yesterday after several people were believed to have been stabbed in what police described as a terrorism-related incident. “A man has been shot by armed officers in Streatham (South London). Police said later the man they had shot had been pronounced dead. Karker Tahir, a man who was working nearby, told Sky News that the man was shot three times. London Ambulance Service said at the time: ‘We have a number of resources attending an incident in Streatham High Road.’
