Sophia Peters, seven, died in hospital on Saturday; her father has been charged over an alleged incident the day beforeA seven-year-old girl who died in hospital after allegedly being attacked by her father can be identified for the first time as Sophia Peters. She was treated by medics but died in a south-west London hospital on Saturday. Peters, of Raynes Park, south-west London, was not present for the hearing. It is believed Peters runs an antiques firm with his brother in Kensington, west London, specialising in oriental ceramics and artworks.
