A 24-year-old man was bitten after his attacker had complained about the victim’s friend speaking loudly on his phone while travelling through south London. The victim, 24, needed treatment for a deep cut Metropolitan Police/ Press Association“A verbal altercation ensued, during which the passenger leant over and bit the victim’s ear,” British Transport Police (BTP) said. “When the offender eventually stopped biting the victim’s ear, he went and sat back down in his seat. The victim and his friend left the train at Peckham Rye.”Police have appealed for information in connection with the incident on the 11.40pm Southern Trains service between London Bridge and Peckham Rye on October 6.
