Locsin issued the statement after a Berlin-based journalist posted on social media that the “Philippine’s acting Ambassador has been summoned by Germany’s Foreign Ministry. It has been made very clear that the remarks by Teodoro Locsin were totally unacceptable.”The German Foreign Ministry summoned Lilibeth Pono, the acting Philippine Charges d’Affaires to Germany. German journalist Arnd Henze, on Twitter, said, “In our interview, Philippines’ Foreign Minister embraced remarks of President Duterte about (Adolf) Hitler and slaughtering 3 million drug addicts. Auschwitz was the largest of the German Nazi concentration camps and extermination center in occupied Poland during World War 2.
