Share TweetBy Roy MabasaForeign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr. will conduct a two-day official introductory visit to Vietnam upon the invitation of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh. In a statement, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said it will be Locsin’s first bilateral visit to Vietnam since he took over the helm of the department in October last year. On July 8, the foreign affairs chief will hold a bilateral meeting with Minister Pham in Hanoi to discuss issues of mutual importance. While in Vietnam, he is also expected to call on Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and visit the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi.
