Jahangir said when the five students of Sheuli mess in Kamarbari of Bogra town were about to leave the mess for their homes in different neighboring districts, caretaker Renu Begum, instructed by landlord Romzan Ali, asked for advance rent of two months, despite the students having cleared their rent payment till this month, said Jahangir. When the students refused to pay advance rent for another two months, the caretaker locked them up inside their room. Upon information, police rescued the students and sent them to their homes, added the SI.
