India’s count of Covid-19 patients crossed 9,000 on Monday, but several states continued to grapple with large numbers of patients. Some states, including Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Puducherry have already extended the lockdown till April 30.
