It was a double treat for attendees, who as well as supporting the people of Ukraine, got to enjoy what's been described by some observers as one of the finest pieces of theatre Athlone has ever seen. Actors Fiona Scerri and Clive Darling rise to the challenge admirably of portraying this duel between two razor-sharp minds and the wry humour that underlines their often testy exchanges. 'Duet for One' continues in Athlone Little Theatre nightly at 8pm until Wednesday, April 13.
