Supplied Fox River flooding has ripped open an old landfill, spewing tonnes of rubbish on to the riverbank, down stream and along the coast. Central Government is working on its plans to combat the onslaught of climate change, but local authorities are more directly in the path of its many potential consequences. The commission supports the Government's review of national water treatment and use in the context of climate change.
