Local councillor calls for action on dangerous trees in Kilbride ParkIndependent Councillor, Sean O' Brien, has called for action to be taken with the dangerous poplar trees in Kilbride St park along the canal. "The recent storms highlighted the danger posed by the poplar trees in Kilbride St. Park. The storm caused large branches from these trees to be broken off and carried by the strong winds into Clontarf Rd. The residents have been in contact with me to have some action taken as we could well have another storm" stated Cllr O' Brien. "These trees are also a danger to the residents in apartments nearby and the bungalows in Kilbride Park.
