Beer consumption in Vietnam topped four billion liters last year, representing a year-on-year rise of 6%, according to the Vietnam Beer Alcohol Beverage Association. Other global giants have also been racing for stakes in Hanoi Beer, Alcohol and Beverages Corporation (Habeco), another local brewery. As a result, companies compete to capitalize on the market’s growth.
