TABLE QUIZ FUNDRAISERA table quiz will be held in St Faithleach’s GAA Club, Ballyleague on Friday, January 23rd at 8.30 p.m.. Table of 4, €40 per table. LATE MR P. J. KEARNSThe death took place recently at Mullingar General Hospital of Mr Packie Joe Kearns of The Maples, Strokestown. A native of Borefield, Strokestown, he was son of the late Mr Mick Kearns and of the late Mrs Kate Kearns (nee Conneally). A native of Ballinrobe, County Mayo, she was daughter of the late Mr Peter Walshe and of the late Mrs Siobhan Walshe. The Funeral Mass was celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church, Kilglass, and the interment followed in Kilglass Cemetery.
