That’s one of a number of ways businesses in The Villages are working hard to ensure your loved one gets the perfect gift on Valentine’s Day. American consumers are expected to spend approximately $19.6 billion on Valentine’s Day this year, according to the National Retail Federation. That’s an increase from last year, when American consumers spent$18.2 billion on Valentine’s Day, buying jewelry, flowers and other items to make their valentines feel special.
