Both the SuperValu stores that are closing are operated by Loblaw Companies Limited, which operates a number of grocery store chains across Canada. towns of Houston and Fraser Lake are set to close next month, leaving residents having to drive at least an hour one-way to reach a grocery store. The store in Fraser Lake, west of Prince George, is closing on June 18, and the store in Houston is closing June 25.
