Liverpool's Champions League opponents Red Star Belgrade banned from taking away fans to Anfield

The Serbian champions have been prohibited from selling tickets to supporters for their next two away games in Europe's premier club competition. It comes after crowd trouble during last month's playoff tie in Austria, against Red Bull Salzburg. Red Star were charged with several offences, including a pitch invasion by fans who also set off fireworks, as they came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 and reach the group stage on away goals at Salzburg's Red Bull Arena. It clinched their first progress to the group stage since winning the European Cup in 1991. As such, there will be no away fans at either of their first two matches, against Paris Saint-Germain on October 3 and Anfield on October 24.
