Liverpool Transfer News: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be keeping tabs on Maxwel CornetThe Ivory Coast international has been one of Lyon’s star performers this season, scoring 12 goals and picking up five assists in 36 appearances. Cornet’s fine form is said to have caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe, including Liverpool. According to the Daily Mirror, Reds scouts watched Cornet in action against Marseille earlier this month and were impressed by what they saw of the 22-year-old. Cornet is thrilled to have courted interest from the Merseysiders and has refused to rule out a move to Anfield.
