Klopp opted to start with Henderson, James Milner and Georginio Wijnaldum in the engine room and Gerrard suggested that Liverpool must get used to life without Can. Asked whether Henderson will get into the team once Naby Keita arrives, Gerrard replied: ‘You have to see what happens because Emre Can is leaving and obviously Keita is coming in. ‘Emre Can might have done that role tonight, he suits it more naturally,’ Gerrad said.
