Liverpool ’s Premier League fixture list has offered Jurgen Klopp a reminder of one of the biggest issues he must address before next season. The Reds were the second-best team in the Premier League away from home in 2021-22, picking up 43 points from an available 57. But last term, Liverpool’s away form deteriorated significantly. And their away form was one of the main reasons Klopp’s charges dropped out of the Champions League into the Europa League. In the first eight matches of the season, between the opening day on August 13th and mid-October, Liverpool take on Chelsea, Newcastle, Wolves, Tottenham and Brighton away from Anfield.
