The Brazilian has been sidelined since the start of May with a muscular injury which saw him miss Liverpool’s second-leg comeback against Barcelona. His team-mates did the business in his absence, though, and the adaptable striker is raring to be match-fit for two weeks’s time when Liverpool face Tottenham in Madrid. The club has refused to confirm whether his frontman will be ready in time, but Firmino gave a clue in his latest social media activity. He furnished fans with an update via his Instagram story on Saturday morning.
