Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp might launch a raid on Red Bull Salzburg in January after being wowed by Takumi Minamino in the Champions League this season. The Reds have discovered the Japan international - who can play in attacking midfield and across the frontline - has a release clause of just £7.25m. And, having seen the 24-year-old score against Liverpool in October and then impress in Tuesday night’s final group stage match in Salzburg, Minamino has given Klopp plenty of food for thought. And it would allow Klopp to farm out Rhian Brewster on loan to help get the young striker some all-important senior minutes, with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa among the clubs interested in securing his services.
