Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he is “really happy to be back” to watch his “wonderful football team again” as they continue preparations for the Premier League’s return on June 17. The Premier League was suspended on 13 March because of the coronavirus pandemic. Klopp said there was still “a lot of work to do” and Liverpool “want to win as many games as possible”. There are 92 Premier League matches remaining this season, and all will be played behind closed doors. Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson told BBC Radio 5 Live last week that playing at Anfield and lifting the Premier League trophy without fans present would be “pretty strange”.
