Liverpool will wear their new official home kit, which celebrates the club’s 125th anniversary, for the first time against Middlesbrough in their final game of the season. The 2017-18 strip is launched today and returns to a darker red colour associated with Bill Shankly’s teams and pays homage to previous kits including the “Rome 1984” shirt synonymous with the European Cup success under Joe Fagan.
