KUALA LUMPUR: Liverpool fans in Malaysia will wake up on Wednesday with great expectations before they head to a major gathering concerning their famous club in Kuala Lumpur. On that day (April 11), the KL Kopites, acting for the Liverpool Supporters Club of Malaysia, want to get into the Malaysia Book of Records by organising the biggest collection of Liverpool jerseys in Malaysia at the 1M4U hall in Puchong. Another KL Kopites, S. Vasu, is counting on Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah to deliver again at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday. Vasu said KL Kopites’ plans to get more than 1,000 fans to wear the famous Liverpool shirt are going smoothly. According to Liverpool Supporters Club president, B. Sashidaran, the idea for such an event came about during discussions among club members last year.
