Liverpool were on the verge of signing Lyon captain Fekir 12 months ago, only for a deal to collapse at the eleventh hour. But with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas having publicly admitted there is an agreement in place for Fekir to leave Les Gones this summer, Liverpool have tipped to resurrect their interest in the attacker. Despite Fekir’s contractual situation, Ligue 1 outfit Lyon are understood to be pushing for a fee of around £45m. Liverpool legend Steve Nicol meanwhile thinks that the club should cash in on Dejan Lovren if they receive a £25m bid from AC Milan.
