Following the departure of the Moreno, Klopp just has Andrew Robertson as the only left-back in his squad and according to reports the German has singled out the 22-year-old as the ideal option. Liverpool could complete the signing of Firpo for £45m, with Spanish publication Sport reporting the player has a release clause in his contract. Although Liverpool haven’t made any signings yet, sporting director Michael Edwards has made it clear one player won’t be sold. Liverpool have refuted speculation that they are willing to sell Divock Origi despite the player only having one year remaining on his contract.
