Klopp has been personally involved in the hunt for the Dutchman’s successor and is a big fan of Bissouma on the pitch, though has wanted to learn more about him off the field. Premier League champions elect Manchester City are also believed to have an interest in Bissouma, viewing him as a long-term heir to the ageing Fernandinho, while Tottenham have also been linked with a move.
