Luis Guilherme looks set for a move to Europe (Picture: Getty Images)Liverpool have been closely tracking the progress of Palmeiras teenager Luis Guilherme, reportedly the most keen of a string of big European clubs that have been monitoring the midfielder. The 18-year-old has already established himself in the Palmeiras midfield, making 19 appearances in the Brazilian Serie A last year and turning out in the Copa Libertadores as well. A move to Europe looks inevitable and The Daily Mail report that Liverpool are at the front of the queue to sign him when he does leave Palmeiras. While Guilherme has not scored a senior goal for Palmeiras as yet, he was prolific in the youth ranks. Joao Paulo Sampaio, Palmeiras’ youth director, said: ‘We played in a tournament in Japan and Luis scored over 40 goals.
