Liverpool and Chelsea appear to have been handed a boost in their pursuits of Newcastle playmaker Bruno Guimaraes. The playmaker has been linked with a move away from the Magpies this summer, and Eddie Howe ’s side already appear to be eyeing replacements. The Brazil international smashed a magnificent volley past Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels in the 10th minute before firing a sensational strike into the bottom corner to seal a 3-2 win for his side. Guimares’ performances since joining Newcastle have earned him plenty of plaudits, and the emergence of a release clause in his new deal at St James’ Park has caught the eye of top clubs around Europe. The 26-year-old is said to be available for around £100million, which is a fee not out of reach of the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.
