Marko Grujic remains focussed on returning to the fold at Liverpool in the near future, and it seems he is in Jurgen Klopp’s plans. Grujic was Klopp’s very first signing as Liverpool boss but, unlike most of the transfers that have followed since, the midfielder has struggled to make an impact at Anfield. Injuries curtailed his first season with the club and a brief loan spell at Cardiff wasn’t enough to keep him at the club to battle for his place. Instead, he was sent out on a season-long loan to Hertha Berlin last season and this summer that agreement was extended for another year and he is beginning to show signs of exactly why Klopp was so keen to sign him in the first place.
