Zack Hyman scored from in close to make it 4-3 with less than two minutes left. Andreas Johnsson’s empty-netter and an awarded empty-net goal for Hyman capped the comeback. The puck took a weird bounce off the boards and William Nylander popped it into an empty net to tie the game in the third. Auston Matthews’ power-play goal – beating Carey Price five-hole – brought the home team to life, two minutes into the second. The Canadiens needed less than 30 seconds for Petry to score on the power and make it 3-0.
