INDIANAPOLIS — Inside the lobby of the Holiday Inn Express, FedEx employees fill out notepad after notepad as people are calling to ask whether their loved ones are safe after the shooting at a nearby facility. One of those employees is a man named Tim, who directed families to conference rooms as they await updates on their loved ones. He said he was present for the mass shooting, his voice cracking recalling the attack at his workplace. “I lost several teammates.”Carts of food, including Doritos, Slim Jims and stacks of Dominos pizza boxes, line a Holiday Inn hallway. Another man entered the Holiday Inn and asked where to find information about his son.
