Of a Mind, Mermaid Arts Centre at Bray Promenade, until August 15The audience gather at the Victorian bandstand on the seafront, our phones tuned to an app which will stream this live audio journey. Commissioned by the Mermaid Arts Centre, sound artists collective Listen and Breathe created this 45-minute experience for the Bray seafront. As the live sound unfolds in our headphones, we follow instructions to walk along the prom. The audience is neatly moved along the seafront and up Bray Head. All the more kudos to writer and performer Peter Gowen that he manages to dazzle with this one-man-show where the jaded story is given fresh, heartbreaking life.
