In a live telephone interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, an Iowa precinct secretary explained that he’d been on hold with the Iowa Democratic Party for more than an hour waiting to submit vote results—that after an app intended to speed vote counting appeared to fail. “Well, Wolf, I have been on hold for over an hour,” Story County precinct 1-1 secretary Shawn Sebastian said. “This is a real coincidence, Wolf, I just got off hold,” Sebastian said.
