Liu Tsz-man’s arson case adjourned to next month


Liu Tsz-man was arrested in Wan Chai last year after the police received a report someone was making petrol bombs inside a flat on Lockhart Road. Liu Tsz-man, who was handed to Hong Kong police from mainland authorities yesterday after being caught for illegal border crossing, will face his charge of conspiracy to commit arson case on January 14. He was escorted back to Hong Kong after the Yantian People's Procuratorate said they would not press charges after he pleaded guilty in Shenzhen. Liu’s case was due in court today, however, with Liu having to undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine after returning from the mainland, judge Justin Ko King-sau adjourned the case to a later date. Liu was arrested with four others on September 30 last year after the police received a report someone was making petrol bombs inside a flat on Lockhart Road.
