Whichever state or locality nabs Amazon’s second headquarters, dubbed “HQ2,” gains an estimated 50,000 technology jobs the company says will pay more than $100,000 a year on average. The District plans to submit its own bid, and Fairfax County Economic Development Authority head Gerald L. Gordon declined to comment.
