Litro Gas Lanka Ltd will reduce the prices of domestic Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas cylinders again by today (May 3). Litro Gas Lanka Ltd Chairman Muditha Peiris said it is expected to reduce the prices again parallel to the gas price reduction in the international market. Accordingly, he added that the price of 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder is expected to be reduced by around Rs.100, while the prices of other cylinders will also be reduced proportionately. Peiris said the gas price reduction is expected to be effective from midnight today (May 3). However the exact amount by which the prices of respective gas cylinders to be reduced will be officially announced today.
