Ever since Ekta Kapoor got on board as the presenter and pan-India distributor of the controversial film Lipstick Under My Burkha, she has left no stone unturned to promote the film. The 42-year-old, while promoting director Alankrita Shrivastava’s film, spoke about the reasons that made her say “yes” to be a part of the film. You would always feel a part of the movie.”Producer Ekta Kapoor, actor Aahana Kumra, filmmaker Prakash Jha, filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava, actors Plabita Borthakur, Ratna Pathak and Konkona Sen Sharma during a press conference organised to promote their upcoming film Lipstick Under My Burkha in New Delhi. Ekta also said she has no clue why other studio heads had a problem being associated with the film. Starring Konkona Sen Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah among others, Lipstick Under My Burkha is scheduled to release on July 21.
