KUALA LUMPUR: MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai has called on the Chinese community to unite and throw their support behind Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to strengthen the Government. Liow, who is also Transport Minister, added that Barisan Nasional's formula of success is respect, cooperation, harmony, unity and the spirit of consensus. We made sure that we help improve the country's economy," he said in his speech during the Chinese Community Patriotic Assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre here on Saturday. Liow said that the Chinese do not ask for more than what is reasonable. The Chinese have emotions and needs and have worked hard and contributed to the nation," said Liow, adding that the community needs to be respected, recognised and appreciated.
