Ex-Barcelona executive Ariedo Braida claims Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would be able to create a super-force on the same team if they had the correct coach. Messi’s future is up in the air following a row with Barcelona director of football Eric Abidal. Abidal criticised the players for the results which led to the sacking of manager Ernesto Valverde last month. It has led to suggestions the Argentine attacker could depart the Nou Camp on a free transfer this summer. "They are two players so good that with a good coach they could work, they can play together," Braida told the Radio anch'io sport show on Rai Radio 1.
