Linn describes itself as a 'precision engineering company', which is true, but they are better known as a very high-end producer of hand-built music speakers and streamers. In the 1970s, Ivor Tiefenbrun was obsessed by music to the point (needle?) that he wanted to build the ultimate hi-fi system because he had never really heard what he wanted to hear. So Ivor set up Linn and the company is now in its fifth decade of creating the best sound of music. LinnThe man at the helm now and Linn Managing Director is Ivor's son, Gilad Tiefenbrun, a man similarly obsessed with music.
