The line-up has been announced for the first round of Maidenhead Fringe Festival’s Battle of the Bands, on Friday, March 22. Hosted by Potion & Motion in King Street, the event kicks off a programme to showcase musical talent in the town centre leading up to the main Maidenhead Festival in July. Tickets to the Battle of the Bands cost £3 in advance or £4 at the door, which will go towards funding the main Festival that costs £60,000 to stage. The competition is open to musicians of every kind, from rock bands to pop and electronic groups.
