Speaker of the House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle has hit back after Humza Yousaf launched an extraordinary attack. The SNP leader claimed Sir Lindsay was guilty of "institutional racism" when presiding over Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday. In an interview with controversial left-wing writer Owen Jones for pro-Scexit The National, the First Minister said Sir Lindsay had ignored Ms Abbott in "a demonstration of institutional racism". To ensure he alternated between MPs from both sides, Sir Lindsay called seven Tory MPs not listed. Ironically, the SNP wanted Sir Lindsay sacked when he failed to stick to procedure in a debate about a ceasefire in Gaza.
