The footage shows shocking scenes of animal abuse at Fir Tree pig farm in Lincolnshire, which has 10,000 pigs that spend their entire lives indoors. Workers kicked pigs in the face and head violently and repeatedly, with more than 100 incidents of kicking recorded in 10 days. They also jabbed the animals repeatedly with long metal forks, sprayed marker paint directly up a pig’s nose and slammed gates on pigs’ heads. Animal Equality, an animal rights group, installed hidden cameras last month after an anonymous tip-off.
