The coach opened his USC tenure with a dominant 66-14 win over Rice on Saturday at the Coliseum. But it wasn't just a high-flying aerial attack that led to USC's highest-scoring game since 2008. USC scored on three of those interceptions, tying a school and Pac-12 record for pick-sixes in a game. Apart from those four touchdowns against the Cougars, USC scored only three other touchdowns in third quarters of games last year. The Trojans scored four touchdowns in the third quarter Saturday.
