The motel is across the road from Waitakere Hospital. A person has been arrested and guests at a West Auckland motel were evacuated after a bomb scare. Police said that shortly after midday on Friday a man was arrested for breaching his release conditions at Henderson's Lincoln Court Motel on Lincoln Road. A man who answered the phone at the motel confirmed police were at the scene around 3.30pm on Friday. The motel was evacuated and a cordon was put in place as a "precaution", the police spokesman said.
