On Sunday, Lin Dan gave an astounding show to beat home star Chong Wei 21-19, 21-14 in a 55-minute men's singles final in the stadium packed with delirious fans. By winning the Malaysian Open title, Lin Dan's collection of all the Superseries and major titles in the world is complete. It was Lin Dan's 25th win in 36 meetings against his nemesis Chong Wei. It's disappointing to lose but I accept this defeat," added Chong Wei, who will compete at the Asian Championships in Wuhan next.
