A farmer and agri-contractor, Cllr O’Donoghue says he has been an advocate for the farming community having spent all of his life working in the farming sector. A statement from Cllr O’Donoghue said that he is a strong advocate for “common sense” on farming and rural issues, policing, and community engagement. He is also a keen GAA fan, having played hurling and football in his younger days before coaching at underage level in his local area.
