COUNCILLOR John O'Donoghue has announced he will run in the Local Elections as part of the Independent Ireland party. Cllr O'Donoghue has served the Adare/Rahkeale municipal district for four years as an Independent councillor however, he has now joined the political party started by his brother Richard O'Donoghue TD and Michael Collins TD. Mr O'Donoghue was co-opted onto Limerick City and County Council in 2020 following his brother's election to Dáil Eireann. Mr O'Donoghue is a strong advocate for common sense on farming and rural issues, policing and community engagement.
