An ODT reporter at the scene said police and Campus Watch were trying to control the unruly "boozy" gathering in Leith and Castle streets this morning. Fire crews put out four fires to e-scooters and have left the scene. The reporter said he saw one person kicking in a car window, cutting his leg, and a group of "drunk" onlookers abused him as he was trying to take photos.
