SHAH ALAM: The government will ensure that no one is left out in its efforts to implement more needs-based policies in the future, although several race-based policies are still in place, says Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng (pic). Lim also said that certain race-based polices by the previous government would continue for the time being. “At present, these (race-based policies) are continued, but we will ensure nobody loses out. On party matters, Lim, who is DAP secretary-general, reminded DAP leaders not to treat the power that they have as their right. Lim also acknowledged the role of the late PAS spiritual leader, Datuk Seri Nik Aziz Nik Mat, had played in keeping the then Pakatan Rakyat together.
